Kite Reflection (6-D): February 04, 2013
1: Evaluate: What are the good: strong parts of Your Project.? Whata is done well.?
I think the strong part of My kite would be the tails. Because their shaped as tenticles and Unique.
2: What do You think You coud of done better on this project.? what is not great and why.?
I could of done better on My tape becasue I was rushing to get it done so not all of the wrinkles are out.
3: Describe the theme of Your Kite: what is he overall unity of Your kite.?Why did You choose to do it that way.?
My Unity would be the colorful circles. They're bright and I wanted too add shape to the odd shaped base.
4: Describe the shape or form of Your Kite. What shape did You use for Your Kite.? why did You select that shape.?
I used a odd shape.It's like a wavy semi-circle. I chose it because the head of a JellyFish isn't a perfect circle.
5: Describe the color used in Your Project. What are the Major colores of color families represented in Your Kite.? Why did You chose to do it that way.?
I used cool colors.Green, Blue, Light Blue and Purple. I used them because I like the way they go together.
6: What did You conclude about the Kite building.? What are the positives and negitives of using tape, Sharpie, Tyvek, dowls and why.?
Sharpie is a good source of color. It's brigh and noticealble but I didn't like taype because it's to hard to control.
7: What did You learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the Future.? What lessons could appleied to Life in general.? WHy.?
I learned that Art is very frusterating but sticking it 0ut is better than quitting becasue in the end it's worth the frustration and anger.
8: Describe the Design process of Your Project (the steps)why did You do it the way you did=.? what challenges did You face and how did You overcome them.?
The Design process wansn't as hard as the actual making of the Kite.I cut out the kite and colored it.Making the Kite was frusteration and almost not worth it.Some challenges I had was taping and making the tails becasue they weren't straight.
9: Is this a worth while project. what do You think of this project as a whole.?
As much as I didn't like this project, I think it was worth while for the fact that We learned how to sculpt an actual thing and it teaches values.
